  • How do I dive at Lake Hydra?
    We are open to Dive schools, organizations and certified and insured independent instructors. Contact your local dive shop or find an independent instructor to dive at Lake Hydra.
  • Do you have air fills?
    Yes. We have air fills and Nitrox-NX32 fills onsite, Provided by Expedition Dive Services. *Expedition Dive Services is an independent contractor and not affiliated with Lake Hydra Inc.
  • Can I solo dive?
    NO. Solo diving, everyone must have a buddy to dive including professional instructors.
  • Can I fish at the lake?
    No. Absolutely no fishing or spear fishing allowed.
  • Can I come to the lake to hang out or swim?
    No. The lake is a dive training facility only. We do not have the parking space to open for public recreational purposes.
  • Can instructors get in for free any time?
    NO, instructors are free entry if bringing students.
  • Do I have to arrive early to get a table?
    NO, we have plenty of tables. We open at 8am and there is no need to arrive early to be able to dive.
  • What are your hours?
    We are open from April through November: Thursday and Fridays from 10 to 5 from May through September Saturday and Sundays from 8am to 5pm April through October New Years eve day from 10 to 1 (1 dive) Everyone must be out of the water by 4pm and out the gates by 5pm. No exceptions.
